In the MUSTANG PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR you will be trekking together with tracks that have remain not changed for a hundred years, whilst being capable of capturing on camera this proportionately undiscovered portion of the globe. When is the best time to visit Mustang Nepal?

The best time to visit Mustang Nepal is from March to November. At this time, the weather of Mustang is mild and pleasing, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures. Upper Mustang lies in the rain shadow region of mountain ranges with less rainfall in monsoon. It is possible to visit in the monsoon season June to September. Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel, and attend a pre-trek briefing.
  • Rest and prepare for the journey.

Day 2Kathmandu to Pokhara

  • Fly or drive to Pokhara, a scenic lakeside city.
  • Explore Lakeside Pokhara and enjoy views of the Annapurna range.

Day 3Pokhara to Jomsom, then Trek to Kagbeni (2,810m/9,219ft)

  • Fly to Jomsom, the gateway to Upper Mustang.
  • Begin trekking to Kagbeni, a charming village at the entrance of the restricted region.

Day 4Kagbeni to Chele (3,050m/10,006ft)

  • Enter the restricted area of Upper Mustang.
  • Trek to Chele, passing through beautiful landscapes and Tibetan-style villages.

Day 5Chele to Syanboche (3,475m/11,401ft)

  • Trek through the Taklam La Pass.
  • Explore the village of Syanboche, known for its cave dwellings.

Day 6Syanboche to Ghemi (3,520m/11,546ft)

  • Trek through the Nyi La Pass.
  • Visit Ghemi, a traditional Mustang village with a monastery.
